  • Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)

    On your arrival day, the representative of Orbit Alpine Adventure welcomes you at the Kathmandu International Airport. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel reserved for the accommodation.

  • Day 02 : Day Tour around Kathmandu Valley

    On the second day, the tour guide of our agency directs you around the Kathmandu Valley for a guided day tour. You will be walking around the World Heritage Sites situated in the Capital City. Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple), Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa are the most selected such sites. In the evening, the trekking guide gives you detailed information about the further program.

  • Day 03 : Drive to Syabrubesi (1,600m/5,249ft) - 9 Hours

    After breakfast, you move towards Syabrubesi, the gateway to Langtang Valley trek or Ganesh Himal trek. Driving along the Pasang Lhamu Highway, you enjoy the scenery of snowcapped peaks of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang region.

  • Day 04 : Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m/8,104ft) -6 Hours

    Walking along the banks of the Langtang Khola, you begin today’s trekking towards Lama Hotel. Following the uphill and downhill trail going through the oak and rhododendron forests, you cross a bridge over the Langtang Khola. Then, moving along the sloppy track, you reach the destination for night rest.

  • Day 05 : Trek to Langtang Village (3,430m/11,253ft) via Ghore Tabala (2,850m/9,350ft) -6 Hours

    Today’s journey begins after having breakfast at the Lama Hotel. On the way, you come to see a lot of natural waterfalls sprouting from the mountain landscapes. When you reach Ghore Tabala by crossing the green meadows, the mountains of Langtang region comes to your eyes. Then, the trail passes through the seasonal cattle settlement areas made by the herders to keep them in summer. If you happen to make this trip in spring, the entire forests are covered with the colourful rhododendron flowers. By walking across a local Buddhist monastery, you reach Langtang village.

  • Day 06 : Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft) -3 Hours

    The rugged path ascends through small villages and meadows serving you the best Himalayan views. You see Mt. Langtang Lirung on your left while Ganchenpo in front as if waiting for you after all. By crossing several small streams and moraines, you reach Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa is a small village having a government-operated cheese factory. As the trekking time today is quite short, you can take a visit around the village for acclimatization purpose.

  • Day 07 : Acclimatization Day

    On the acclimatization day, you have a few things to pass the time by getting a lifelong memory. You can stroll around the monastery and the cheese factory; walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice ridges. Moreover, there is a glacial lake just three hours’ walk from the hotel. You can go up to The Langtang Lirung Glacier or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4,600m.), directly behind the village, for a splendid vistas of the snowcapped peaks of Langtang region. You see the breathtaking view of Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Changbu and Langtang Yubra Peak (6,035m) from the top of Kyanjin Ri. It is the best vantage point of Langtang region trekking.

  • Day 08 : Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4,600m/) -6 Hours

    By following the ice-covered trail, you move towards Yala Peak Base Camp. From the base camp, you can have the mesmerizing view of the snowcapped peaks of the Langtang region. Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri and Yala Peak itself come into your sight. When you reach the base camp, the Sherpa guide gives you the basic knowledge about peak climbing. He trains you for using the climbing gears like ice axes, ropes, crampons, ice pick and harness.

  • Day 09 : Hike to Yala Peak Summit (5,500m/18044ft) and Trek Back to Base Camp -9 Hours

    To enjoy the sunrise view of the mighty Himalayas, you should begin the journey early in the morning. From the summit, you can have the stunning view of Mt. Shishapangma (8,027m), Mt. Dorje Lakpa (6,966m), Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri and Langtang Lirung. Storing the lifelong memory of the Giant Mountains for some time, you trek down to the base camp. Today, you have to walk for about 9 hours to reach the summit and descend towards the base camp of Yala Peak.

  • Day 10 : Trek Back to Langtang Village -7/8 Hours

    Walking along the same trail you used earlier, you begin the retreat trip towards Langtang Village. You go past Kyanjin Gompa to reach the beautiful Langtang Village.

  • Day 11 : Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,260m/7,415ft) -5 Hours

    After breakfast, you begin today’s trekking along the dense forests of Langtang National Park. By walking along the Langtang River Valley, you go across Bamboo to reach Thulo Syabru. It is a beautiful Sherpa village influenced by the Tibetan Buddhist culture and tradition located in Langtang region. On the way, you might encounter with red pandas, musk deer and some bird species in the national park area.

  • Day 12 : Trek to Sing Gompa (3,250m/10,663ft) -5 Hours

    Today’s trip is a little more challenging as you have to walk along the steep trail to Forang Danda (3,200m) via Dursang (2,660m). While moving ahead, you relish the eye-catching appearance of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and the Tibetan peaks as well. The trail goes through the dense forests of hemlock, oak and fir trees. When you reach Sing Gompa, you visit a local cheese factory and a monastery. You can taste the organic cheese that is said to be the best in Nepal.

  • Day 13 : Trek to Gosainkunda (4,361m/ 14,308ft) via Laurivinayak La (3,920m/12,861ft) -6 Hours

    After breakfast, you start the journey today towards the sacred Gosainkunda Lake (4,361m) via Laurivinayak Pass (3,920m). For the first few hours, the trail ascends gently until you reach the pass. Although the trip is challenging, the views are of course, rewarding. You can see Himal Chuli (7,893m) Manaslu range (8,156mm), Ganesh Himal (7,406m), some Tibetan peaks and Mt. Langtang Lirung. On a fine day with the clear sky, you can also have a distant view of Annapurna (8,091m) Himalayan Range. By descending through the steep trail downhill, you reach Gosainkunda for the night rest.

    After reaching there, you can visit the glacial lakes interconnected by natural networks. You can visit other lakes like Saraswati Kunda, Bhairav Kunda, etc. as well. It is a famous pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. If you make your trip around Janai Purnima Festival in the mid-October, you can find thousands of the pilgrims flocking to the lake. They believe that taking a dip into the holy water cleanses their sins committed knowingly or unknowingly. Spend the night at a tented camp nearby the holy lake.

  • Day 14 : Trek Back to Sing Gompa- 5 Hours

    After having breakfast, you begin the retreat journey by enjoying the magnificent view of the Himalayas from Annapurna to Tibetan region. By crossing, Laurivinayak Pass, you reach Sing Gompa or Chandanbari for the night rest. If you happen to make this trekking in Nepal in spring, you can see the colourful forests due to rhododendron flowers.

  • Day 15 : Trek to Dhunche (2,030m/6,660ft) -6 Hours

    Early in the morning, you begin to walk towards Dhunche, the administrative headquarters of Rasuwa district. You walk past the dense forests of rhododendron, oak and pine trees including some marijuana plantation areas. Then, by crossing a bridge over the Sing Gompa Khola, you arrive at the destination. Today is the last day of walking and spending time in Langtang region. Therefore, try to enjoy as much as you can.

  • Day 16 : Drive Back to Kathmandu- 7 Hours

    After having breakfast enjoying the sunrise view of Langtang region and Ganesh Himal Range, you set off to Kathmandu. Driving along a private jeep or a local bus, you have the gorgeous views of the Himalayas and high altitude villages. When you arrive at Kathmandu, the representative of the company transfers you up to the hotel. In the free time, you can go shopping or stroll around Thamel. You can buy some relics and clothes to present to the people in your home country.

  • Day 17 : Final Departure

    As today is the final day of Yala Peak climbing Gosainkunda trek, we will transfer you to the Kathmandu Airport as per the flight schedule.
