Introduction

Orbit Alpine Adventure is a local tour and trekking operator located at Thamel, Kathmandu. It is established and run by a well experienced candidate who has spent more than 15 years in Nepalese tourism industry. In order to run the company based on its motto “Clients’ Satisfaction is Our Motto!”, we have set the following terms and conditions.

Definition

The company along with its administrative and technical staff is defined as Orbit Alpine Adventure. The successful trekking and tour by best satisfying the clients is its responsibility.

Booking Procedure

The booking for tours and treks can be made via phone calls, emails, WhatsApp and online booking facilities as provisioned on the official website. The company has not set any hard and fast rule for booking the trip with it. You can book the tours and treks on arrival as well in a mutual understanding with the company. You can book via B2B or directly contacting the agency as per your comfort.

Payment System

While booking any tour or trek within Nepal, you have to pay 30% of the total cost as deposit amount. The remaining amount must be paid before you start the booked package when you arrive in Kathmandu. And to book any such trip to Tibet and Bhutan, you are supposed to pay 100% cost.

The cost of the trip you have booked must be paid in USD in cash as well as Visa or Master Card. To pay via Visa or Master Card, extra 4.5% will be charged for banking procedure. The visa copy is mandatory to make the booking as it also helps the company to prepare the legal documents and other necessary arrangements. The necessary arrangements refer to hotel booking, TIMS card, domestic flights and trek and tour permits including conservation area and local area entry permits.

Cancellation & Refund

The company doesn’t take any charge on trip cancellation prior to specified time. Nevertheless, 30% you pay for reserving the trips around Nepal is non-refundable. The cancellation of trip to Bhutan and Tibet is condition-applied for which you must contact the company.

To cancel the trips within Nepal, the followings are the terms and conditions:

  • 30 days and above – No Charge
  • Between 15 days and 29 days – 40%
  • From 07 days to 14 days – 70%
  • Less than 07 days – 100%

In case of cancellation made by the company, 100% from the deposit will be refunded without any burden on the clients. But when the cancellation is a must due to unavoidable circumstances like epidemics, insecurity, natural calamities, etc., only the fees paid while preparing the necessary requirements will be deducted from the deposit.

PS: You can extend the trip duration prior to or while on the trip. For this you must consult with the company directly or via its crewmembers.

Nepal Entry Procedure

To get visa to Nepal visit, you must have at least 6 months passport validity from the entry date. There must be at least one blank page in the passport for entry visa. You can get the visa from the Nepalese Embassy or Consulate Office deployed in your country. You can also get the visa on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Insurance

The insurance of the staff of the company is the concern of Orbit Alpine Adventure. But the insurance of the clients is their responsibility. You must provide the copy of your insurance while booking the trip with us. The insurance copy enables us to proceed the rescue or evacuation operation in case of emergency.

Risks & Liabilities

We are always committed to abide by “Clients’ Satisfaction is Our Motto!” We don’t compromise on providing quality services to our valuable clients at the most reasonable cost. We are not subject to the cancellation or postponement of the booked trip due to unavoidable circumstances like civil wars, epidemics and natural calamities. The risks like minor bruises, cracks, sprain, fractures and even death that come during the adventurous trips are all your personal liabilities.
