The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek offered by Orbit Alpine Adventures is a short yet one of the most picturesque and popular treks in Nepal and is suitable for healthy people of almost any age group. This trek starts from and ends at Nayapul, a popular gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary, and the trail forms a mini-circuit with Poon Hill and Ghandruk as the two most spectacular stopovers. In just 5 days, our Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Ghandruk trek offers an amazing combination of the diverse culture, flora, fauna and landscapes within the Annapurna region.

The best reward our Ghorepani Poon Hill trek offers is that even in such a short duration, it gives you a chance to travel from low altitude subtropical zone to significantly higher alpine zone, with rich paddy fields and forests full of rhododendron, silver fir and pine en route. The highest point you reach during this irresistible excursion is Poon Hill (3,210m), which is a perfect view point offering spellbinding vista of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre peaks. The village of Ghandruk which has inspired several travelogues, films and documentaries, will definitely occupy a special corner of your memory by the virtue of the hospitality and cultural heritage of the predominant Gurung society and the sheer natural beauty that the village is blessed with.
