Leave all the arrangements and paperwork to the experts of Orbit Alpine Adventures and join for Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Annapurna Base Camp hiking is a perfect combination of landscape variation and the close up view of the peaks over 7,000m. You follow the trail that goes past terraced paddy fields, dense rhododendron forests rewarding with the stunning view of the Annapurna range. You can taste from the typical Nepali food “Daal Bhaat” (lentil + rice) to pizza and chaumein in the hotels you accommodate. You can be always connected with the world even during the trekking in Annapurna region by utilizing free Wi-Fi.

Trek to the Annapurna Base Camp begins from Nayapul, which is a highly frequented gateway to Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). From Nayapul, we head towards Ghorepani, have a fascinating short hike to Poon Hill (one of the best Himalayan viewpoints). Then, you proceed towards deep gorge between Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli peaks, emerging on the other side into the narrow valley of Modi Khola. Finally, you reach Annapurna Sanctuary — the oval plateau situated over 4000m from sea level and 40kms immediately north of Pokhara Valley.

Annapurna Sanctuary trek itinerary ranges from 7 to 13 days based on the trail and duration of the trekking per day. The sunrise view of Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Mt. Machhapuchhre (6,993m) and Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441m) are superb from ABC. Many popular short treks that are suitable for family treks including children and senior citizens are included within this trek. Ghorepani Poon Hill trek (also Annapurna Sunrise View Trek) is the best sunrise view trek in the world.

You can even do this trek independently, however, the route between Himalayan Hotel and Machhapuchhre Base Camp is avalanche-prone. Therefore, we highly recommend you to hire a professional trekking guide who keeps records of the latest updates regarding the trekking trail. This trekking can be made throughout the year; however, winter may not be quite appropriate due to the snow. To have a 360-degree panoramic view of the snowy peaks of Annapurna range, trekking Annapurna Base Camp in autumn is the best. The best season to trek Annapurna Base Camp for witnessing the colourful blossom of rhododendron decorating the entire forests is spring.

In less than 2 weeks, we can give you an enriching and overwhelming introduction to the abundance of flora and fauna of Nepal. Besides, the authentic rustic lifestyle and tantalizing natural beauty perfected by the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchhre are truly rewarding. We are ever ready to welcome you aboard for a perfectly organized, safe and enjoyable trek to Annapurna Base Camp.
