Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)
On your arrival day, the representative of Orbit Alpine Adventure receives at the Kathmandu Airport. Then he transfers you to the hotel booked for your accommodation. After taking a short rest, you can take a stroll around the tourist hub, Thamel to collect the stuffs you require for the trekking. In the evening, our agency organizes welcome dinner at a cultural restaurant as a part of welcome function. The trekking guide gives you all the information about Gosainkunda short trek.
Day 02 : Drive to Sundarijal (1,350m/4,429ft) and Trek to Chisapani (2,167m/7,110ft) -5 Hours
After a 45-minutes’ drive from the hotel, you reach Sundarijal, one of the popular spots for picnic and recreational activities. From here, you enter into the Shivapuri National Park and reach Mulkharka Village by walking along the rugged trail. Moving through the lush forest of the national park, you reach Chisapani, a beautiful Tamang village located on the edge of a ridge. You can enjoy the beautiful valley and splendid mountain vistas from the village.
Day 03 : Trek to Tuksang(3,180m/10,433ft) - 6 Hours
After having breakfast, you continue the trekking towards Tuksang village by enjoying the Himalayan view. On the way, you go across some Tamang ethnic villages close by the dense forests. Sometimes, you might see some Shamanistic and animistic cultural practices of Pre- Buddhist religion followed by the Tamang people. Having the glimpses of birds and rare animals like red panda of Shivapuri and Langtang National Park, you reach Tuksang for the night station.
Day 04 : Terk to Ghopte (3,340m/10,958ft) -7 Hours
The trekking trail of today is more interesting as you walk past the scantly resided area almost attached to the dense forests. You come to witness the wonderful birds and animals in the dense rhododendron and pine forests. Although you gain a little higher elevation, the scenery are wonderfully captivating as you come to have the glimpses of the snowcapped peaks of Langtang region. Overnight stay at Ghopte by enjoying the local organic food items with the Tamang people.
Day 05 : Trek to Gosainkunda (4,380m/14,370ft) -7 Hours
You start the trekking of the day quite earlier as you have to follow the steep rugged trail to cross the Laurivinayak Pass. After walking slowly but continuously for about seven hours, you reach the final destination: Gosainkunda Lake. Here you are with the sense of victory because you have almost done Gosainkunda Langtang Valley trek! You can enjoy the mountain peaks reflected on the water of the holy Gosiankunda Lake and the amazing landscapes surrounding the valley. If you are making Sundarijal Gosainkunda Lake trek in August, you can find thousands of Hindu pilgrims taking holy dip into the lake for religious purpose.
Day 06 : Trek Back to Dhunche (1,764m/5,787ft) -6 Hours
After taking breakfast relishing the sunrise view of the mountains of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang region, you begin the retreat journey. Descending through the lush rhododendron and pine forests of Langtang National Park, you move downhill via Laurivinayak Pass. Day 07 : Drive to Kathmandu – 7 Hours
Enjoy the morning view of the majestic mountains of Langtang region and Manaslu region while having breakfast. By catching a public bus, you begin the roadway journey to Kathmandu. On the way, you can enjoy the mountain sights, amazing landscapes and human settlement areas on top of hills. After arriving Kathmandu, the representative of Orbit Alpine Adventure transfers you to the hotel. You can take a short stroll around Thamel Bazaar to collect some souvenirs or cloth items to present to your people at home. In the evening, our agency organizes farewell dinner as a part of hospitality.
