Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,350m/4,429ft)
On the arrival time, the representative of Orbit Alpine Adventure welcomes you at the Kathmandu Airport. Then, he transfers you to the hotel that is reserved for your accommodation facility.

Day 02 : Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city.
The tour guide of the agency guides you through the important historical and socio-cultural sites of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit historical Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swyambhunath Stupa. These are the important landmarks of Nepal enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage List including three out of the valley. In the evening, the team leader gives you the detailed introduction about Lobuche Peak climbing itinerary.,

Day 03 : Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,383ft), start trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,563ft)- 5 Hours
After breakfast, you take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, also called Tenzing Hillary Airport. You can have the aerial view of landscapes, forests, villages and snowcapped peaks of Everest Region. While in the sky above Kathmandu, you can also enjoy the panoramic view of Manaslu and Langtang regions as well.

Day 04 : Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,500m/11,483ft)-6 Hours
By crossing Hillary Suspension Bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, you move ahead along the dense forests of rhododendron and pine. You might see some wild animals like musk deer, black bear inhabiting in Sagarmatha National Park. Finally, you reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub of Solukhumbu region. You can find all the modern amenities over here.

Day 05 : Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
For the acclimatization purpose, you can visit Everest View Hotel that gives you the perfect view of Mt. Ama Dablam and other peaks. You can also visit Monjo, the office of Sagarmatha National Park. There is Sherpa Museum to see the photos of Tenzing and Hillary captured in the 1953 Everest Expedition. You should have enough drinking water and hygienic food to prepare for the further ascent.

Day 06 : Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,850m/12,631ft)- 6 Hours
Following the rugged trail along Sagarmatha National Park, you move towards Tengboche village. You can visit Tengboche Monastery which is the largest monastery of Khumbu region. Enjoy the captivating view of the snowcapped peaks of Everest region.

Day 07 : Trek Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350m/14,272ft)- 6 Hours
Walking along the banks of the Imja Khola that originates from the Imja Lake or Island Peak, you move ahead. Crossing the lush forests of pine and rhododendron, you reach Dobuche village, a Sherpa settlement area. Then, you go past other villages Pangboche, Somare and Milingo by enjoying the stunning view of Mt. Lhotse (8,516m).

Day 08 : Trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4,950m/16,240ft)- 6 Hours
From here, you move further by crossing the moraine rift of the world’s largest glacier, the Khumbu Glacier. On the way, you see some memorials of the climbers who lost lives while attempting to climb Mt. Everest. Finally, you reach Lobuche village, which has the friendly people who are always helpful and honest. From here, you can relish the stunning vistas of the Great Himalayas.

Day 09 : Trek Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5,140m/16,864ft) and Visit EBC (5,364m/17,598ft)- 7 Hours
Today is the most remarkable day as you are going to reach the base camp of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest. For that, you begin the journey to Gorakshep after having breakfast. Gorakshep used to be the base camp of Everest until the 1953 Everest expedition made by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. By keeping the backpack at a hotel, you march ahead to Everest Base Camp. Enjoy the breathtaking vistas of snowcapped peaks of Everest region from here and return to Gorakshep for the night stay.

Day 10 : Visit Kalapatthar (5,545m/18,192ft) and Return to Lobuche Base Camp (4,865m/15,961ft) -7 Hours
Early in the morning, you begin the trekking to Kala Patthar (5,545m) to capture the sunrise view of Everest region. Kala Patthar is the best vantage point of the Everest Summit and other neighbouring peaks. Capturing the lifelong memory of the world’s highest mountain in the camera and the mind, you climb down to Gorakshep. After having breakfast, you trek back to Lobuche base camp on the way stop for the lunch at Lobuche teahouse. Then, you trek to the base camp and meet all the climbing staff members and overnight at tented camp.

Day 11 : Rest day at Lobuche base camp get final prepare for climbing.
The team leader gives you the required instructions about using the climbing gears. The training at the eleventh hour is also very fruitful to successfully win over the peak of 6,119 metres. If you have any confusion regarding the using climbing gears and techniques, you can ask the instructor. The climbing guide teaches you the effective techniques to accomplish this trekking peak without any mishap. Take enough rest, water and hygienic food items to keep yourself ready for the further ascent.

Day 12 : Trek to Lobuche Peak high camp (5,600m/18,373ft) and rest at tented camp -4 Hours
After taking your breakfast, you continue to ascend towards High Camp by following the rocky path. By walking around four hours, you reach the destination. Then, you set up the tented camp for the night station. You had better walk around High Camp for the acclimatization purpose and to witness the mesmerizing Himalayan views.

Day 13 : Hike to Lobuche Peak Summit (6,119m/20,075ft) and Trek Down to High Camp -9 Hours
This is the most thrilling day of the entire trekking in Nepal this season. About 2:00 AM, you start the trip to reach the summit of Lobuche Peak (6,119m), the most awaited factor of this whole trekking package. As the weather and the wind may not be favourable during the daytime, you have to start the epic journey after midnight. You have to use both the fixed rope and manrope to cross the crevasses in the icy zone. Follow the instructions of the Sherpa guide to do away with this mission. Once you are on the top, you have most enchanting vistas of the eight-thousanders and other peaks of Everest region. You spend some time on the zenith to capture the rarest snaps of the glowing peaks in the early sunshine. Then, trek back to High Camp by storing the lifetime memories of the Great Himalayas

Day 14 : Trek back to Pangboche (4,350m14,272ft) -9 Hours
Having the sunrise glimpses of the fascinating vistas of the Great Mountain Giants, you trek down towards Pangboche. You join the main trail to Everest Base Camp right from Lobuche where you will have your lunch. By enjoying the smiling sight of Mt. Ama Dablam, you walk past Periche. Then, the trail runs through the lush forests of pine and rhododendron trees. If you are making this trip in spring, the entire forests are covered with the colourful rhododendron. When you arrive at Pangboche, you go to visit the Pangboche Monastery, which is the oldest monastery of the entire Khumbu region.

Day 15 : Trek back to Namche Bazaar (3,500m/11,483ft) -5 Hours
After breakfast, today’s trip starts from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar by walking past Tengboche Monastery. The trail that goes along the dense rhododendron and pine forests takes you across Sansa Village. If you are lucky, you might see some wildlife species like Himalayan goats, snow leopards and colourful pheasants, etc. Finally, crossing a local chorten decorated with colourful prayer flags, you reach Namche Bazaar for the night stay.

Day 16 : Trek back to Lukla (2,800m/9,383ft) -7 Hours
You descends towards Lukla by walking along the rugged trail that plays hide and sick in the dense forests of Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing the Hillary Suspension Bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, you arrive at the hotel. Enjoy the last night in the Everest region by witnessing the Himalayas and Sherpa settlement areas.

Day 17 : Fly Back to Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft) -45 Minutes
After taking breakfast, you catch a morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla, Tenzing Hillary Airport. While on board, you enjoy the aerial panorama of the snowcapped peaks and captivating landscapes for the last time this season. After the plane lands at the Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. In your leisure time, you can stroll around Thamel to purchase some relics or clothing items as gift to your people.

Day 18 : After breakfast transfer to Airport for departure
This is the last day of Lobuche Peak climbing 20 days itinerary that you booked with us. So, the crewmember of Orbit Alpine Adventure relocates you to the Kathmandu Airport as per the flight schedule.
