Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu; Transfer to hotel; Night in Thamel.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Also known as Kantipur, in this city you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess Kumari in Kathmandu Durbar Square, an area popular for its array of temples and old palace buildings. Later in the day, you will spend around Thamel.

Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu; Drive to Swayambhunath.
After breakfast, you will visit Swayambhunath, an unmistakable white stupa atop a hillock inside the bustling city. Located around 3 km from city center, this stupa is said to be more than 2,000 years old.
It is a solid white hemisphere, capped by a shiny pinnacle with four sides painted with all-seeing eyes. This hillock provides a 360º panoramic view of Kathmandu. From there you will return to the hotel and after lunch, visit more of the old town of Kathmandu before returning to the hotel for the night.

Day 03 : Sightseeing in Lalitpur; Drive to Godavari and Back.
After breakfast you will visit Patan Durbar Square. Today it is a World Heritage Site but in the past it was the seat and ruling complex of the Malla Dynasty of Lalitpur. While your tour guide will answer your every question, you won’t be able to resist from taking photographs of the craft and the complex. You will enjoy the museum located in this region, as this one is sure to bring down the notion that museums are boring.
After having lunch in Patan Durbar Square, you will drive to a green countryside called Godavari. There you will find Nepal’s first botanical garden, natural water sprouts and age-old forests habited by a number of animals and bird. You are advised to bring along your binocular and of course your telephoto lens.

Day 04 : Sightseeing in Bhaktapur; Drive to Nagarkot.
After breakfast, you will drive to Bhaktapur. It is the smallest district of Nepal, and one of the three ancient kingdoms of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an elaborate complex full of wood and stonework done more than 300 years ago by its Malla Rulers. You will instantly feel teleported as you restlessly click your camera here and there and everywhere. A few hours in Bhaktapur and one lunch later, you will drive on a scenic route to arrive at Nagarkot. It is a cool and airy hill-station providing a wonderful view of the mountains. Stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 05 : Nagarkot Sunrise; Drive to Changu Narayan and Dhulikhel.
You will wake up before dawn and travel to the highest point for an expansive sunrise view. It feels so near and with the mountains so clear, you will remember the morning for a long time to come. Later, you will return to the hotel for breakfast before going on a drive to Changunarayan. It is a temple located at the top of a hill, and is included in this travel program for one reason – it is the oldest recorded temple in the valley – built somewhere around the second century A.D. From Changunarayan, you will visit the village of Dhulikhel for lunch from where you will have yet another splendid panoramic view of the Himalayan range. Late in the day, you will drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 06 : Drive to Khokana, or Farping, or Kakani at the Outskirts of the Valley.
Today you will drive to Khokana, or Farping, or Kakani. Khokana is an ancient village suspended in time. Its traditions have not changed for hundreds of years. Farping on the southern edge of the valley is a vantage point for having scenic views. Kakani is a much more frequented hilly destination that can be reached via a scenic drive. Later in Kathmandu, you are invited to join a farewell dinner hosted by us before returning to the hotel for the night.

Day 07 : Airport Transfer.
This is the last day of you Kathmandu Valley Tour 7 days’ itinerary. Hence, after breakfast, we will take you to the Airport three hours before your flight time.
