  • Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)

    On your arrival day, the representative of Orbit Alpine Adventure receives you at the Kathmandu International Airport. Then, she/he transfers you to the hotel booked for your accommodation. In the evening, the trekking guide of our agency tells you about the Everest Three High Passes trek itinerary.

  • Day 02 : Fly to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft) and Trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,563ft) -4 Hours

    After breakfast at the hotel, a private van transfers you to the Kathmandu Airport to catch a flight to Lukla. During the flight, you can enjoy the aerial view of the snowy peaks, glacial lakes, icefalls and wonderful landscapes of the Everest region. From Lukla, the gateway of Everest region trekking, you begin the journey towards Phakding

  • Day 03 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/10,958ft) -6 Hours

    Walking along the lush rhododendron and pine forests and crossing the Hillary Suspension Bridge, you reach Namche Bazaar. This is the top trade centre of the entire Khumbu region having all types of modern amenities like banks, ATM booths, etc. Overnight stay at a hotel tasting the cuisines of your choice and appetite.

  • Day 04 : Acclimatization Day

    To get adjusted in the higher Himalayan altitude, this is acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar by exploring some important sites. You have multiple choices to do here like hiking to Everest View Hotel, Sherpa Museum (Hillary Museum) and Sagarmatha National Park office.

  • Day 05 : Trek to Tengboche (3,860m/12,664ft) -5 Hours

    Following the trail that passes through the lush rhododendron and pine forests, you ascend through some Sherpa cultural villages. Reaching Tengboche village, you take a stroll around Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the entire Khumbu region. If you travel around November, you can enjoy Mani Rimdu festival, the greatest festival of the Khumbu people observed in the monastery premises.

  • Day 06 : Trek to Dingboche (4,410m/14,469ft) – 5 Hours

    Today’s trekking trail goes past some lush rhododendron and juniper forests enjoying the appealing view of the snow-clad peaks. On the way, you can have a short study of the Pangboche Monastery, the oldest monastery in this region. Walking along the Lobuche River in the Imja Valley, you finally reach Dingboche for the night station. The attractions of this windy village are the prayer flags and chortens reflecting the purest form of Tibetan Buddhism.

  • Day 07 : Acclimatization Day

    No need to wake up early as you don’t have to reach a further destination towards higher elevation this day. You happen to meet many trekkers on the way to Island Peak, Ama Dablam and Everest region trekking here. The wall made of different sized stones encircling the village and the Himalayan Rescue Hospital are the major attractions. You can hike to Nagarjun Hill to have the vistas of peaks like Makalu, Lhotse, Cholatse, Tawache, Ama Dablam and etc.

  • Day 08 : Trek to Chhukkung (4,750m/15,580ft) -3 Hours

    After taking breakfast, you begin the journey towards Chhukkung Village which is famous for Chhukkung Ri climbing. The trail moves ahead through the stone-walled fields on the Imja Khola banks offering the amazing view of Ama Dablam and Ambu Laptsa peaks.

  • Day 09 : Trek down to Lobuche (4,940m/16,210ft) via Kongma La Pass (5,535m/18,159ft) -7 Hours

    Today, you are going to have the most adventurous trekking of the entire Everest High Passes trek. Walking along the moraine of the Nuptse Glacier located on the northwest of Chhukkung, you reach Kongma La Pass. This is the highest pass in the epic Everest region meeting your desire to go across the Himalayan high pass. The top of the pass which is decorated with the Buddhist prayer flags rewards you with the best possible panorama of the Everest region. Then, you cross the debris of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche for the night station.

  • Day 10 : Trek to Gorak Shep (5,140m/16,864ft) and Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) – 8 Hours

    Walking along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier offering the amazing Himalayan views, you ascend towards Gorak Shep. After keeping your backpack at Gorak Shep, you start towards Everest Base Camp along the Gorak Shep Lake. From the base camp of the world’s tallest mountain, you see the mesmerizing view of the snowy peaks of the region. However, you can’t see Mt. Everest which hides behind Mt. Lhotse so as to show you the following morning. After making the Everest Dream come true, you come down towards Gorak Shep for the night station.

  • Day 11 : Hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,209ft) and Trek to Dzongla (4,830m/15,850ft) – 7 Hours

    Early in the morning, you hike up to Kala Patthar for the sunrise view of the Great Himalayas. The best natural viewpoint of the entire Everest region, Kala Patthar rewards you with the closest view of Mount Everest. You can take the photos by keeping the eight-thousanders and neighbouring peaks from here for a lifelong memory. If the weather is favourable, you can stay as long as you want at Kala Patthar and trek back to Gorak Shep. After having breakfast at the hotel, you descend towards Lobuche to follow the trail along the Imja Khola banks. Finally, you reach Dzongla for the night stay. From here, you can have a magnificent view of Lobuche Peaks, Cholatse and Tobuche peaks.

  • Day 12 : Trek to Thangna (4,358m/14,298ft) via Cho La Pass (5,420m/17,782ft) -8 Hours

    Today, you have another adventurous trek as you are going to cross Cho La Pass, one of the three high passes of Everest region. Walking along the snow-covered path, you reach the top of the pass which needs crampons and hand lines to cross especially in winter season. Following the stony path going uphill and downhill, you reach Thangna for the night rest relishing the astounding view of Machchhermo and other peaks.

  • Day 13 : Trek to Gokyo Lakes (4,900m/16076ft) – 3 Hours

    After breakfast, you start the journey towards the classical Gokyo Lakes Valley by walking past the snow-covered path. Gokyo Valley is the Sherpa cultural village located at the bottom of Mt. Cho Oyu, the 6th highest peak in the world. Overnight stay at a local teahouse by enjoying the organic food items cooked by the Sherpa people.

  • Day 14 : Acclimatization Day

    You have a couple of options to do during the acclimatization day at the turquoise lakes of the Gokyo Valley. Firstly, you can explore the six glacial lakes having natural network with other nineteen emerald lakes. Hike to the Fifth Gokyo Lake is the best viewpoint giving you the best view of the four eight-thousanders. Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and Mt. Cho Oyu are the Great Mountains seen from this lake. If the time favours and you like, you can further hike to the Sixth Gokyo Lake.

  • Day 15 : Trek to Marlung (4,210m/ 13,812ft) via Renjo La Pass (5,360m/ 17,585ft) – 8 Hours

    Today you are going to cross the third high pass of Everest region, Renjo La Pass and reach Marlung for the night station. Moving along the Dudh Pokhari, you ascend towards the pass relishing the stunning view of the Himalayas, Rolwaling Ranges and other peaks. The top view of Renjo La Pass is exactly like that of Gokyo Ri that you see the third Gokyo Lake and the beautiful Gokyo Valley. You can also have the mesmerizing sight of Mt. Everest and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the world’s largest glacier in the Himalayas. Then, you follow the stone staircase along the bank of Angladumba Tso Lake and enjoying the beauty of Relama Tsho and Renjo Lake. On the way, you walk past Lumde Village, you reach Marlung which lies on the bank of the Bhote Koshi River.

  • Day 16 : Trek down to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft) – 6 Hours

    After having breakfast, you walk along the traditional trade route between Tibet and Nepal used in the past. Crossing the Bhote Koshi River two times, you reach Thame village where the famous mountaineers like Apa Sherpa, Kami Rita Sherpa and Tenzing Norgay were born. Thame Monastery, the oldest monastery of the entire Khumbu region is the central attraction of this village to look into. Then, by walking past a few Sherpa settlement areas of Everest region, you reach the main trade center, Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 17 : Trek down to Lukla – 7 Hours

    Today, you trek down to Lukla, the gateway to Everest region trekking by walking along the lush rhododendron and pine forests. Relishing the astounding vistas of the snowcapped peaks and walking past a few ethnic villages decorated with prayer flags, you reach Lukla. It is here you end the most adventurous trekking of Everest three high passes that offer you the best experience of the Himalayas. You can celebrate this evening with your colleagues to make this trek more memorable throughout the lifetime.

  • Day 18 : Return Flight to Kathmandu from Lukla -35 Minutes

    After having breakfast, you catch a flight to Kathmandu from Lukla enjoying the aerial view of the natural and cultural landmarks of Everest region. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can spend the time by taking the rest. You can also visit Thamel area to collect souvenirs and other stuffs to present to your people in the home country. In the evening, Orbit Alpine Adventure organizes a farewell dinner at a cultural restaurant as a part of hospitality.
