Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Day 01: Fly to Pokhara (910m/2986ft), Drive to Nayapul (1,070m/3511ft) and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,570m/5151ft) -5/6 Hours

    To do Annapurna Sunrise View Trek, you will have a scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu Airport for about 35 minutes. After landing at Pokhara Airport, you will catch a private jeep to Nayapul, the gateway to Annapurna region trekking. Right after Nayapul, you follow the trail along the Modi Khola banks that passes through some rustic villages. You go past the villages like Birethanti and Sudami which make your journey more memorable. The superb sight of the snowy peaks like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre assist you to move further towards the destination. Walking across the sub-tropical forests and crossing the BhurungiKhola, finally, you reach Tikhedhunga for the night station.

  • Day 02 : Trek to Ghorepani (2,840m/9318ft) - 5/6 Hours

    After having breakfast, you start ascending through rhododendron and oak forests with diverse animals and birds. You have to walk along 3,300 steps to reach Ulleri, a Magar ethnic village famous for clean surrounding. By following the trail that goes across some sparkling streams, you reach Nangethati, a station for short rest. By ascending a few meters, you reach Ghorepani for the night station at a teahouse. En route, you enjoy the panoramic vistas of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and Tarke Kang, all above 6,000m.

  • Day 03 : Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10532ft) and Trek toTadapani (2,630m/8629ft) -4/5 Hours

    Today, you begin the journey quite earlier to hike to Poon Hill to experience the best sunrise view in Annapurna region. From Poon Hill, you have the best view of the snowcapped peaks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges all glittering. Poon Hill situated at the elevation of 3,210m is the prime location of the entire Annapurna Sunrise View Trek. You will feel really excited to get the opportunity to have the glimpses of 20+ peaks including Mustang and Pokhara. You can capture this invaluable moment of stunning mountain views and landscapes in your memory and the camera as well. After enjoying the best sunrise view in the world, you trek down through the dense rhododendron forests to reach Tadapani. En route Tadapani, you will also relish the rarest view of the natural waterfalls sparkling in the sunshine. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Tadapani by enjoying the typical Nepali cuisines.

  • Day 04 : Trek to Ghandruk (2,012m/6601ft) -3/4 Hours

    After having your breakfast at Tadapani, you begin your trekking to Ghandruk which is another central attraction of this trekking package. You go along rhododendron forests which are decorated with the colourful rhododendron flowers in spring season. Along with the mountain villages and wonderful landscapes, you reach Ghandruk for the night rest. Since this is one of the shortest trekking, you can explore the Ghandruk village which is famous for Gurung Museum. You can find the authentic information about the Gurung community, their culture, tradition, lifestyle and dresses from the museum. From this village having clustered houses with stone roofs, you can have the closest view of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuil. Stay overnight at a homestay of Ghandruk village relishing the organic food prepared and served by Gurung woman with the best hospitality.

  • Day 05 : Trek to Siwai (1,250m/4101ft) , Drive back to Pokhara and Return Flight to Kathmandu (1,350m/4429ft) -4 Hours

    Having your breakfast in the cultural village of Ghandruk, you start the final day trekking of the entire Annapurna region. The trail goes downhill along the banks of a small rivulet to reach Siwai which is the shortest and most comfortable walk. Walking for about one and half hours, you reach Siwai from where you catch a private jeep to reach Pokhara Airport. From Pokhara Airport, you catch an afternoon flight to return Kathmandu for the night station. Enjoy the picturesque vista of the snowcapped peaks of the Annapurna region and Manaslu region during the flight.
